TRAVELING TO EAT - part 2

Whole Hog Week
La Villa Bonita
Have you ever wanted to be personally involved in a head to tail culinary immersion? If so, late in October you can do just that in Mexico. The school is located 20 minutes from Cuernavaca at the base of the Tepozteco mountains. Chef Ana Garcia takes you in her capable hands and passionately teaches you about traditional Mexican slow food techniques. Here you will be introduced you to local farmers and producers, visit the Masa Mill and learn how to make tamales, taste tequila and mezcal, cook with chilies, and learn about whole hog butchering and cooking. Other than the Whole Hog Week, Chef Ana offers 2 night - 7 night programs.
